Dignitas Parts Ways With Roster

Dignitas has announced that they have parted ways with and will try to find a new home for the following players:

Harrison “Psalm” Chang

Rory “Dephh” Jackson

Noah “Rara” Giesbrecht

Ryan “Ryann” Welsh

Bryan “Makka” Drouillard

Although Dignitas has parted ways with the men’s team, Dignitas Female will continue to compete.

The Dignitas roster was initially signed in August of 2020. Although the roster found initial success in “Pop Flash” with convincing wins over TSM, the team has had lackluster results ever since.

Dignitas was unable to qualify for any of the stage 1 challengers tournaments, losing crucial series’ to the likes of TSM and NRG. Therefore the team was unable to play in the majority of prize pool tournaments. With the lack of improvement between key tournaments and a string of disappointing results, it seemed like the team needed a change of personnel.

On the 27th of March, Harrison “Psalm” Chang was moved to the bench ahead of NSG’s March Monthly tournament in favor of “koalanoob”. Only a week later, after a poor showing at NSG’s March Monthly tournament, Dignitas has dropped their entire roster.

ex-Dignitas are still set to compete in VCT Stage 2 – Challengers 1 open qualifier, which starts on April 1st, in which they will need to best T1 and 100 Thieves to qualify for the main event.

Following on from the announcement Dephh announced that he will be taking a break from competitive valorant. Therefore it seems unlikely that the squad will stay together beyond the qualifiers on April 1st.
